Afghan Taliban Threatens Decisive Action if Pakistan Continues Operations

The spokesperson of the Afghan Taliban government, Zabihullah Mujahid, has warned that if Pakistan continues its military operations, the forces of the Islamic Emirate are also capable of taking appropriate and decisive action. He said, “Our hands can reach their (Pakistan’s) throats.”

Amid ongoing tensions along the border, the Taliban claimed that Afghan military forces are prepared and will respond firmly if necessary.

On the other hand, Pakistan’s military has claimed that 274 Afghan Taliban soldiers and militants have been killed in the operations so far. It also said that 400 Afghan soldiers have been injured. Additionally, it stated that 73 posts were destroyed and 17 posts were taken under control.

These figures were provided by the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry. He further claimed that at least 115 armored vehicles and artillery pieces of Afghan forces were destroyed in the operation.
