Italy Repatriates Over 120 Illegal Bangladeshi Citizens

This year, Italy has repatriated over 120 illegal Bangladeshi citizens. The Italian Embassy in Dhaka provided this information on Monday, November 3.
The embassy stated that on October 31, Italian authorities returned 4 Bangladeshi citizens from Italy, as they did not have legal permission to stay in the country. Among them, 2 had arrived from Libya without a visa just one month ago.
As part of Italy's commitment to combat illegal immigration, more than 120 Bangladeshi citizens have already been repatriated to Bangladesh in 2025.
The embassy also added that entering Italy without a valid visa or through a fake visa, and paying traffickers or agents to do so, is illegal. Such cases trigger immediate repatriation procedures.
