Fuel prices raised by Tk 2 per liter
Under the automatic price adjustment system in the country, the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources has increased the prices of all types of fuel oil by 2 taka per liter for the month of December 2025. The adjustment was made Sunday, according to the revised pricing formula in line with fluctuations in the global market. The new prices will take effect from Monday.
According to the new decision— the price of diesel has increased from 102 taka to 104 taka, octane from 122 taka to 124 taka, petrol from 118 taka to 120 taka, and kerosene from 114 taka to 116 taka.
The information was disclosed in a press release signed by Mohammad Arif Sadek, Information and Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources.
