Two crude bombs (cocktails) exploded consecutively in front of the residence of Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Adviser to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and the Ministry of Water Resources, on Central Road in the capital. The explosions occurred around 9 p.m. on Sunday night. However, no one was injured in the incident.

From Saturday night to Sunday morning, several vehicles were set on fire and crude bombs were thrown in different areas of the capital. Police have arrested 18 leaders and activists of the Awami League suspected of involvement in these incidents.
