July National Charter: Signed and Unsigned Parties

As part of the initiative for state reform, five political parties among those that participated in the long dialogue phase of the National Consensus Commission did not sign the July National Charter due to differences in opinion.

 

Besides leaders of most political parties that participated in the dialogue, the Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus and members of the National Consensus Commission also signed this political agreement document.

 

The signing ceremony of the “July National Charter 2025” took place on Friday at 5:00 PM at the South Plaza of the National Parliament building.

 

Out of the 30 parties and alliances that participated in the dialogue, 25 signed the charter and pledged to implement the reform decisions of the Consensus Commission.

 

After signing the charter, the Chief Advisor stated that the political parties and the Consensus Commission had “made the impossible possible.” He remarked that it would “stand as an example to the world.”
