Earlier, at 10:36 a.m. on Saturday, a mild earthquake was felt in Palash of Narsingdi. Its magnitude on the Richter scale was 3.3.
The matter was announced in a notice published on the website of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department. The notice was signed by department official Nizamuddin Ahmed.
In addition, on Saturday (21 November), a powerful earthquake shook various parts of the country including the capital Dhaka. At least 10 deaths were reported across the country. The magnitude of that earthquake on the Richter scale was 5.7. The epicenter was in Madhabdi of Narsingdi.
