“They Tried to Use Us, We Have Come Out for the Welfare of Islam”: Rezaul Karim
Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, Ameer of Islami Andolan Bangladesh, said, “They tried to use us in the name of Islam; we have come out collectively for the welfare of Islam.”
He made the remarks on Tuesday afternoon while addressing an election road meeting organized by Islami Andolan Bangladesh at the Central Shaheed Minar premises in Tangail town.
In his speech as the chief guest, he further said, “The people are now conscious, and they will support politics based on truth and principles. Islami Andolan does not engage in power-centric politics; rather, it practices politics aimed at building an ideology-based and justice-oriented society. Everyone has welcomed our decision.”
Rezaul Karim said, “If we want to beautify the country, ensure the rise of Islamic strength, and guarantee the welfare of humanity, there is no alternative to the Hand Fan symbol.”
The event was presided over by Khondoker Zakir Hossain Sabuj, the party’s parliamentary candidate for the Tangail-5 constituency. Other leaders and activists of Islami Andolan were also present at the program.
