The Bangladesh Awami League has announced a new three-day program today through a press release.
In the context of the current situation, this program has been called demanding the protection of the lives and property of the people, reduction of the prices of essential commodities, resignation of the illegal–usurper–killer–fascist Dr. Yunus, annulment of the farcical verdicts against all members of the family of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina, and unconditional release of all political prisoners.
At the same time, the program has also been announced demanding the withdrawal of all false and fabricated cases filed against all political activists, intellectuals, journalists, cultural workers, professionals, businessmen, and peace-loving innocent people; abolition of the illegal kangaroo ICT court; and withdrawal of all obstacles including the illegal ban on the Awami League, in order to restore democracy and ensure participation in the election and all democratic programs without hindrance.
According to the announced program, torch processions will be held across the country on Thursday, December 11; protest processions after Juma prayers will be held across the country on Friday, December 12; and a dawn-to-dusk lockdown will be observed on Saturday, December 13, in Dhaka and throughout the country.
The Bangladesh Awami League has made an earnest call to all peace-loving, patriotic people of the country who believe in democratic ideals to make the announced program a success.
