After 7-Year-Old Daughter, BNP Leader’s Elder Daughter Dies in Bangladesh Arson Attack
In an incident of arson at the house of BNP leader Belal Hossain in Lakshmipur, his college-going daughter who had been undergoing treatment at the hospital after sustaining burn injuries has died. She died on Wednesday night at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka. Earlier, Belal Hossain’s seven-year-old daughter Ayesha Akhtar also died after being burned in the same fire.
All of Ayesha’s dreams were burned to ashes
“Ayesha was her father’s beloved child. He always looked after her. She used to call him ‘Baba’ and talk a lot with him. She had many dreams—all of them were burned to ashes. I just want to see her face one last time.” Saying this, Nazma Akhtar, the mother of seven-year-old Ayesha who died after being burned in a fire, was crying inconsolably.

A group of miscreants set fire to a coach of the Jaria Local Train standing at the wash pit of Mymensingh Junction Railway Station. The incident occurred early Wednesday. Due to the quick response of the Railway Security Force members, major damage and loss of life were avoided. The miscreants fled when Ansar members involved in the operation chased them.

A Series of Cocktail Explosions and Arson Attacks in Dhaka
A surge of crude bomb (cocktail) explosions and arson attacks on buses across the capital Dhaka in the last 24 hours has created widespread panic among the public. A series of bus fires and consecutive crude bomb (cocktail) explosions in Dhaka, Narayanganj’s Siddhirganj, and Gazipur has created nationwide unrest and concern. From Saturday (15 November) morning until late night, at least three buses were set on fire and more than 15 cocktail explosions occurred in different areas of the capital. Although no casualties were reported, questions have arisen among the public regarding the law and order situation.
