Education Cadre Begins Indefinite Sit-in at DSHE from Today
Lecturers of the BCS General Education Cadre have launched a movement protesting promotion discrimination. Under a “No Promotion–No Work” policy, they have boycotted classes and are holding sit-in programs at government colleges across the country. As their demands remain unmet, the lecturers announced an indefinite sit-in from today, Wednesday (19 November), at the premises of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE).
Teachers Reject Education Advisor’s Proposal, Call to Continue Movement!
Education Advisor Professor Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar proposed a 5 percent increase in salary for MPO-registered teachers based on their three demands, including a 20 percent increase in basic salary and house rent allowance.
