Education Cadre Begins Indefinite Sit-in at DSHE from Today
Lecturers of the BCS General Education Cadre have launched a movement protesting promotion discrimination. Under a “No Promotion–No Work” policy, they have boycotted classes and are holding sit-in programs at government colleges across the country. As their demands remain unmet, the lecturers announced an indefinite sit-in from today, Wednesday (19 November), at the premises of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE).
Bangladesh Sees Worst Higher Secondary Results Since 2004
Bangladesh has recorded its worst Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exam results since 2004. In this year's HSC and equivalent exams, 58.83 percent of students have passed.
