MI6 Launches Dark Web Portal to Recruit Russian Informants
The UK’s Secret Intelligence Service, commonly known as MI6, has launched a new dark web platform called ‘Silent Courier’ aimed at recruiting informants and defectors from hostile foreign nations, with a particular focus on Russia. The initiative, introduced by outgoing MI6 chief Sir Richard Moore during a speech in Istanbul, is designed to allow individuals with access to sensitive intelligence—especially regarding terrorism or foreign espionage—to contact British intelligence securely and anonymously.
